Emily Taylor

Associate Attorney undefined

With a focus on family law and estate planning, Attorney Emily Taylor strives to help each and every one of her clients navigate the legal process with as little stress as possible. Incredibly organized, hard-working, and results-oriented, Emily is willing to do whatever she can to help her clients achieve an optimal outcome. Throughout the process, she works to ensure that her clients stay informed and up to date on the status of their case. She is quick to answer questions, address concerns, and help clients understand their legal options. Emily takes the time to learn about her clients’ unique goals, then does everything she can to effectuate those goals.

Emily views trials as the defining moments in her career. After working on cases for months, and preparing for trials for days, it is always invigorating to be able to stand up and advocate for clients and to see all the research and preparation come together before the judge.

She always tries to keep in mind how she would want another attorney to handle a case for a family member in order to treat her clients accordingly. Often clients come to the firm amidst major upheavals in their lives, so Emily is both delicate and honest when she gives her advice. She also makes every effort to give clients realistic expectations and take the extra time to explain the reasoning behind any legal advice.

Emily graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in English and Political Science in 2011. She then went on to attend law school at the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating with her law degree in 2015. While in law school, she was a member of the university’s American Association for Justice Student Advocacy Team, as well as the Board of Advocates. She was awarded the prestigious Order of the Barristers Award upon her graduation from law school.

Emily was born and raised in Joplin and is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. She is a member of Bible Study Fellowship and active in her church. Emily and her husband and have one daughter and two English Bulldogs, and they enjoy running 5ks together.
